Uncle Trevor in Town! (Part 1)

Uncle Trevor (Justin's Twin brother) got to take a break from his time aboard a luxury charter ship as First-Mate to join us on a little vacation in Antigua...it has been wonderful to have him, and we believe he is enjoying the relaxing and not sharing a small cabin with another crew member and any extra gear that can't be stored other places...he was actually spoiled in his 20 x 15 foot room.




The first journey out on the island was to snorkel with Justin out on Long bay, and on the way home, we got to visit Devil's bridge...no trip to Antigua is complete without a visit to the Bridge...unfortunately the sea was pretty calm and wasn't as spectacular as it has been in other pictures.





The next picture is of Generals Zach and Seth taking their new troop on a tour of the station. Here Zach is telling uncle Trev how the cannon is supposed to work and how the flowers fly out when either of the Generals count down from 3. He did a satifactory job ensuring that cannon operations did not miss a beat.




The first trip out with everyone was to Nelson's Dockyard...the boys played on all of the cannons and the anchors, while Dad and Trevor took Eli on a trip around all of the sail boats and yachts. Followed by a hike (2/3 of a mile) out to a fort and back. That tuckered everyone out and Trevor was very gracious in purchasing everyone a pop from one of the local vendors. The boys got a kick out of looking into the cooler and picking out a SPRITE.



The next trip included Trevor, Justin, Zach and Seth...(mom and Eli were hanging out at home taking much needed naps). We drove down to Jolly Harbor to watch Mr. John play in a cricket game...and spend some time at the beach...you can see that Uncle Trevor is much cooler than daddy and after endless charges into the water and some "body-surfing" he was recruited to teach the finer points of sand sculpturing!!
