The Big 5...a Day Late!

My sweet Seth...5 years old already? I can remember so clearly sitting in a hospital holding you on your first night...you and I cuddling in a warm hospital room while a big Wyoming blizzard rolled through! Has it really been 5 years. 5 years old seems SO old...TOO old! I have asked you many times throughout this past year to please "stop growing" but for some reason you just won't listen!!



There isn't a day that passes that you don't make me smile and laugh. You really are quite the shining star in our family...even on your worst day, you can't help but make someone else happy!




This has been a busy year for you. A new home, a new school, and new friends would put anyone into crisis mode; but you have taken the world by storm this year! You have thrived and blossomed at everything you have tried...art, soccer, and swimming...just to name a few!



In the past, your Dad and I have always struggled to keep you healthy...but this year after a diagnosis of asthma, we took matters into our own hands and found out you had quite a few food sensitivities. Not only did you take that in stride as well, but you became a healthy, strong, and active boy who NEVER complained when we told you that you "couldn't have" something! You enjoy being healthy and often ask for "healfy food" and for food "wifout sugar..."



You love life...learning...laughing...and others! You love to learn about Jesus, and that makes your Dad and I so happy! You have so much faith when you pray; praying big prayers that most people wouldn't even try to ask! You love to help others and really want for others to be happy right along with you!



Seth, we love you! We can't wait to see you grow, blossom, and become the man we know God wants for you to be!! We are so blessed to have you in our lives!

Fun in the Sun...

I am finally getting around to what seems to be a bi-monthly posting. I could make all of the obvious excuses...but you have heard them all before!!

This past Sunday we picnicked with 2 other families at a park just up the road from our church. It was warm and beautiful...and the company was great too!



One of our friends snapped a few pictures of Justin and I...lucky for me the ones that show my belly didn't really turn out...



E certainly is not a baby any more! Seems crazy that he is 2 1/2 going on 6. ALWAYS getting into something...and ALWAYS trying to be like his big brothers!!



I'm not sure Seth really enjoyed the football all that much...



Zach flying a kite...just moments before the kite broke and nose dived to the ground. Justin lovingly said "Zach you killed it!" Zach may never fly a kite again!



Eli loved the way the kite ribbons felt as they brushed over his shoulders!

I would say that I would try to post again in a few days...but we all know how that will turn out. But until next time...have a great night!

It's Coming Right Along...

A friend of Justin's headed out this past week to take some pictures of the house. We were so excited to see how it is coming along. At this rate we will be able to bring our new baby back to a home rather than a hotel! It's hard to believe that I will be posting about moving AGAIN. Our departure date will be just after the boys are done with school!
