We're on our way....

The day has finally come...just one more "sleep" and we will be off on our journey. First 2 weeks in Oregon, then 5 days in Florida, and after that....onward to the Carribean! We can't wait to see Daddy...only 19 more days!

Zach knew that everyone was dressing up in costumes today. So he put on his borrowed Batman costume, and Seth put on Zach's Spiderman pj's and off we headed to pick up Grandma Pam. Zach kept saying "She is going to think I look sooooo cool!"Zach...still not totally up to par after being sick...and very difficult to catch a photo of these days...I was chasing him around and he was laughing - I finally caught a fairly good shot!

Seth...I was experimenting with the camera after my friend Susie gave me some pointers...I still have a long way to go. I took this with her lense that allowed my to focus in on Seth and blur out the background.

Eli...need I say more - - he is just finishing up with the acne stage...his complexion is finally starting to come around...and he is full of smiles, it's just difficult to catch one...

Weekend on a dreary, rainy island

Our little sick guy...

Seth was so sweet, cuddly, and quiet today...I guess that's the positive side to being sick. He even fell asleep on the living room floor which I can honestly say has NEVER happened! Notice he still has a ball right next to him. All is good in his little world if there is a ball near by! Hopefully by tomorrow the fever and the "donald duck cough" as the other kids called it will be gone!

Cricket and a couple of shots

John getting ready for the big game...with encouragement from Patricia and Bonnie.

The beautiful Cricket Stadium...and look at the size of that crowd...we had to fight for seats! :)

A picture of the scoreboard and a nice fountain at the stadium.

First picture has John's team playing defense in the blue uniforms...second is John batting in the left blue uniform.

Just a picture of a cruise ship in port...pretty massive.
Just a picture of the sunrise over the Dorm on the walk to work.

The two highlights of the day...

Now that's concentration. I bought the boys their own head sets today so they could "share" the ipod. They were so excited about trying it out after their baths...see below...

There were a few months where Zach and Seth couldn't take baths together - although they still have fights in the bathtub they are getting fewer and farther between...this bath was especially enjoyable!!

A cold winter day...

We woke up to snow this morning. The snowflakes with the backdrop of fall colors was so beautiful.

Time to break out the thermal pj's. A friend of mine bought the boys matching pj's as a baby shower gift - what a great idea. The kids (with the exception of Eli) thought they were pretty great!!
Big brothers loving on Eli. Notice the truck in Zach's hand...Eli's head and tummy make a great road....

Seth played outside for about 15 minutes. When he came in he was quite a site...big tears and rosey cheeks. Look at those eyes - today they are green - tomorrow who knows???

This is Eli's first captured smile....it's so great to have a camera without a delay...he loves laying under the little arch - he was accidently bumping the toys with his arms and then smiling at them as they moved. He's 5 weeks old today!!!

Trip around the Island!

A picture of the beach with Montseratt in the background...it was exteremly clear all the way down that way!
A picture of a beautiful cove and me in the mirror!
Off the end of Half Moon Bay...beautiful...the largest waves on the island.
Half Moon Bay
Me in the water at Half Moon Bay...it is pretty!

It's a bird...It's a plane...it's Batman...???

Some friends of ours let Zach borrow their Batman costume. He won't be using it for Halloween, but he has been so excited to wear it around the house - usually yelling "I'm Backpack..." But for a brief moment he actually, on his own, decided he should share it with little brother...Seth was beside himself with excitement and wouldn't stop shouting "I'm a bad guy..." It's very hard to take him seriously when he has such a huge smile on his face!!

The chocolate on Seth's fact just adds to the outfit...
Looking out the window to see if there is anyone that needs rescued. Actually, they were just saying goodbye to the Paquette's.

Excavators wreaking Havoc on a building! (For the boys)

This is what it looked like at the beginning....

And in the End!

Pumpkin drawing...

The kids had a great time today drawing on their pumpkins. We cut out the tops of the pumpkins so that we could roast the seeds...but decided against carving them - too much work. Everyone, especially the moms, were very satisfied with the decision!

Here's Eli, relaxing on Mike's shoulder. He smiled a couple of times today, and his eyes are tracking everything!! He is one month old now - hard to believe how fast time flies!!

A week in pictures...

On Thursday we went to the Happy Apple Farm. It was almost an hour drive...and I'm still not sure if it was worth it. The boys wouldn't even walk into the pumpkin patch because it was "too pokey." Zach was extra crabby....little did I know he was coming down with the stomach flu - by the time we got home his temperature was 102 and he was throwing up :) Fun times...

"Are we almost done yet?"

"Is that orange tractor ever coming back to pick us up?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seth had a great time "helping" me with Eli's bath!!
Our baby?? Seth begged me for a bottle...then he got impatient because the milk wasn't coming out fast enough - it only has one little hole in it. He said "the bottle is having trouble mom...can I have my milk in a sippy cup please?"
