Will kicked me out of the office this morning to go and spend a little bit of time with Vonnie and the boys...the time they are going to be spending here is starting to get short. Just over a month from now we will be hopping on an airplane to take them home...so I am taking advantage of the time we still have together in the Caribbean.
Little Eli has grown by leaps and bounds in his time here...he is now almost 5 months old and loves to have you spend time with him...rather I guess it would be more accurate to say that he NEEDS you to spend time with him...as soon as you put him down he is unhappy. So he couldn't be happier than being lofted high over the beach and water at Deep Bay!
On our way back to base so I could put in my half day in the office, we had to drive by the port...on some days there are no boats in and the town is dead...that was not the case today. The port had a Royal Caribbean boat, a Carnival boat, and two "smaller" cruise ships...made for a pretty cool view.
On the way through town we thought we saw Uncle Derek walking on the side of the road with his hair hanging out in all of its glory. It turns out it was just a random guy who also has chosen not to cut his hair over the last umpteen years!
We love and miss you all...
