Antigua Air Station's Famous Mardi Gras Parade

For about a week now the streets have been buzzing about this exciting event..."down main street," "parade," "costumes," and the list goes on!! Parades are so fun...and filled with pomp and circumstance...even more fun when your family gets to be stars of the show!! Did I mention that this parade was only one vehicle long??? Did I mention that this parade only had 6 participants (not counting the driver of the firetruck).

According to an internet definition, a parade is: "an organized procession of people along a street, often in costume. Parades are held for a wide range of reasons, but are usually celebrations of some kind!" So, in case your asking...yes this WAS a parade!





Justin was "the King," the Queen was a no show???

The boys were VERY excited about this!! That is until the driver started the siren. Anyone who knows Zach, knows how scared he is of loud noises. I could see him covering his ears from the very beginning. By the time the firetruck got close to me, he was begging Daddy to let him off. I grabbed him, and Seth was only seconds behind him!!
