We weren't sure what our plans were going to be this afternoon, but they were almost railroaded by this event
http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/world/20080131-1551-antigua-missingminister.html . Prior to locating this gentleman, the Prime Minister (Head of State) called Justin to let him know he was coming over to ask for help...5 minutes later he was at the gate to the Air Station with a police escort...5 minutes later he was on his way to continue the search. Meanwhile Justin was on the phone with the embassy in Barbados. He was able to secure support from a regional security service with thermal imaging aircraft. Quite an interesting experience for Justin and his office here. While the search didn't end well, ...our afternoon did!! We headed back to the "place with the canons" as Zach calls it (the Dockyard)! Eli and I wandered around the shops and the older boys went on a small hike with Justin. They had a great time!!

This is a view from the top of the hike. The shadowed island in the background is Montserrat, which has an active volcano located on it, and 2/3 of the island is now an "exclusion zone."

"Seth, there is an enemy sailboat attempting to gain entry to the harbor...Ready, Aim, Fire!!" Good thing this wasn't loaded, as the boys would have loved to shoot something out of the end!
