Half Moon Bay -- With the Mulkey Fish

I know that you all feel sorry for us that the weather over our last three day weekend was raining and windy, keeping us from getting the boys out and in the water. So in case you have missed the pictures of BEAUTIFUL weather and WONDERFUL water...here we go!

The boys are very good at requiring us to put on their life jackets to head out into the water...this is good, because as soon as we get out there, they want your hands OFF of them. Up until today, that was a bad thing for Seth as his old blue life jacket floated him at about chin level...he was only a small ripple of water from tasting salt water. As you can see, his new red life jackt keeps him up out of the water so he can kick and swim like his brother.

Zach on the other hand after he pushes you hands away proceeds to say he has put his "propellers" out. (This is in reference to his arms and legs that are going like an egg beater!

During our treck accross the bay to try and find a blow-hole...there wasn't one, but as you can see Seth was picking up every rock he could find...unlike his father at that age he puts them in daddy's pocket instead of in his mouth!

All of their waiting for a blow-hole paid off with several big waves crashing in on the rocks to their feigned excitement!
Our dear friend Paul was kicking around in the weeds and found this COCONUT SAILBOAT...it was a huge hit, and the only problem was that he didn't find TWO! The boys actually did a pretty good job of sharing the boat by pushing it back and forth to each other while floating in their life jackets.

Seth was standing up on this rock and I asked him to show me his CHEST...needless to say, he believes that he has a better feature than his manly chest...and that would be his belly! Or maybe he was trying to help me feel better and that I wasn't the only one around who looked bloated! Thanks BUDDY!

While his older brothers were busy playing in the water Eli was hanging out in shade created by putting a sheet across two of our beach chairs. (Thanks mom). He had pretty much lost interest in playing with his toys and cooing at Vonnie and our dear friend Bonnie...so he looked around and discovered he has appendages other than his arms. So if he can put his thumb and fingers into his mouth...why not his toes too?? So this is truly a Mulkey Boy...practicing putting his foot in his mouth!
