Our little man's bed!

Hey all,

Not much exciting happened today. I golfed in a tournament that our contractor helped to sponsor, so I was gone for a big chunk of the morning. It was a good tournament...for all of you golfers out there, you will understand this story! Fortunately it was a 2-man scramble format. This was a good thing, because minus 1 par 3 where we used my drive, I had not hit a good one for 17 holes...you could also purchase 1 mulligan per side. On #18 I hit my first shot WIDE right...over the 10th fairway...not easy to do. So my partner said, you should use that mulligan...i figured why not? I teed up the ball, aimed 30 degrees left and swung out of my shoes...the ball had a perfect little fade to it, and came down left center of the fairway. We didn't know at the time we were the last group coming in, but when we got to the longest drive stake my ball was about 10 feet further or so! So after hating golf for almost 17 holes, I hit the shot that will keep you coming back...my partner and I did not win, or even place in the top 5 of 7 teams, but we shot a respectable 79 and I won the long drive contest (US$30+ gift certificate for dinner). A pretty ironic turn of events.

We then followed that up with our 5th beach in 6 days. Won't probably get a beach in on Mon and Wed as my boss will be in town, but we are off to a good start, and Vonnie and the boys are having a great time!! It is very nice to have them here.

For Eli, we have a portable basinet for him, but he doesn't seem to like it, so he has been relegated to his car seat, where he sleeps well and only gets mom up 1 time a night to feed. That would be fabulous if Seth wasn't getting out of bed at 0500 hours in the morning and crawling over Zach's bed to Vonnie and I to let us know he is AWAKE...Time to GET UP! :)

After this time on the island, a 3 bedroom, 2 bath place in Alabama doesn't look all that bad! :) Love to you all, and hope you had a great Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.
