It's been such a long time since I have actually let the boys help me in the kitchen. Of course I ALWAYS have a reason not to let them help..."I'm too busy," "Your too messy," "Boys don't need to be in the kitchen," and "It's so much easier for just Mommy to do it..." But the reality is that my boys LOVE to help me, and I'm sure at some point I will want them to help and they won't be nearly as willing. Today they were playing and Zach overheard me telling someone on the phone that the boys and I were going to make cookies together...life as we knew it stopped immediately. They dropped everything to help!! We pulled out a trusty peanut butter chocoloate chip oatmeal cookie recipe out of their kids' cookbook and got started!!
Zach blowing the first batch of cookies! I'm not sure that anyone would really want to eat these cookies after we have touched, tasted, sneezed, blown...and have also taken several potty breaks in between ingredients!
Seth thoroughly enjoyed them. His chocolate face matched quite nicely with his shirt. He really hates to be messy and started crying when he got a little chocolate on his fingers. When I said "Just lick it off Seth," it was like a light bulb went off..."What a great idea Mom!"

That looks great...I can't wait to get them in the mail. I am sure that all the time in the box will either make those germs grow, or die. Either way, I will know when open the box!!
