Tuesday Tidbits...

~~~~~~ Down town they are playing some Christmas carols...in the club and dining hall there is a Christmas tree...but if you look really hard there are a couple of palm trees here that are sprouting these little red berries...I guess even the palm trees like to join in with the Christmas festivities. ~~~~~~Zach's "best thing," his "blankie" has seen better days. This is a blanket that Grandma Pam made for him. Since the day he was born, he has loved this blanket. Even in his most colicky fussy moments this blanket helped to calm him down. It takes the hurt out of owies, helps the missing Daddy moments seem a little easier, and makes everything right in his little world. It has already had a piece amputated from it, and several holes tied up. I don't think that the new bright orange blanket from Grandma will easily replace this...at least not yet. Zach says, "Mom, it just doesn't taste as good."
~~~~~No this isn't Justin posing as Santa Claus. Laundry is almost an everyday affair around here. If we wait too long, the load is too big for the small broken laundry basket that we have! This was about 5 days worth of laundry. 5 washers and 3 hours later it was back in our drawers.

~~~~~~We have never had a baby who REALLY wanted to suck his thumb. Until now, this has been a non-issue because Eli couldn't consistently get his thumb into his mouth, but now he can! He seems to prefer this over his pacifier. Hmmm...not sure yet if we should allow this or not....thoughts?? It sure is cute!!
~~~~~~Today was mail day!!! Next to Thursday's Steak night, this is one of the highlights of the week. The boys couldn't believe how many boxes we received today...diapers, food, small stroller, and a few Christmas presents!!
