Another Day at the Beach! Deep Bay -- 8th Different beach for those who are counting!

This was the night before...Vonnie and her three boys in front of a beautiful sunset...we were headed to dinner with some friends for THURSDAY STEAK NIGHT!!! What a deal!
This isn't a bad picture...not quite the outfits we would want on a Christmas Card, but it is proof that everyone was at the beach, and apparently enjoying it. Seth was on his chair, just far enough away from any water to be safe. Zach was busy bouncing around with his bag of Popcorn. Eli was sunning his little feet while trying to stay out of the wind n his carrier. Vonnie and I acting like we have the whole situation under control...What a Farce...but the beach does seem to be getting easier...(of course having Will's set of hands helped!)

Vonnie took this picture experimenting with some of the 18,000 different settings our camera has...I think she set the shutter to light speed. I would have thought with a shutter that fast, we wouldn't get anything but a black picture...she actually got the wave actually crashing. I think next time we will try and get closer and look down the tunnel of the wave...we will see...
Daddy and Zach headed out into the water...he has a ball, and can't get into the water fast enough. The nice thing is that so far, he won't just run out there by himself...he wants you with him...THAT is a HUGE blessing! We also just got he and Seth some kickboards...Zach loves his, and needless to say, with Seth not liking water, he doesn't even know he has one.

Eli's first little dip in the water...we kind of forced the water on him. I don't know how much he liked it, and we probably almost put his little body into shock. He is sleeping good now, so it all this swimming must have worn him out!
You can kind of see Little man jump as the cold water came up around his chest. If this was Seth he would have been screaming like a banshee...but Eli doesn't know nay better!

I had to put this one on there...it is pretty easy to see where Eli gets his good looks in this one...with the way the sun is hitting my back, you wouldn't even guess that I still need to lose about 15 pounds...you might think I was right out of one of those GQ magazines! Eli was happy because he hadn't quite gotten in the water yet...but he could anticipate it!
