If he looks cold...he is! Zach's first Landshark's race was this past Monday. It was a whopping 38or 39 degrees outside; and although it had snowed and rained most of the day, the sun did decide to show it's face that evening for the race.
Zach did excellent. He put on his game face; anxiously charging off of the starting line only to be called back after about 20 feet because he had unknowingly started with the Kindergarten girls! Second time around he wasn't quite as quick off the blocks, but he did finish his half mile in 5 minutes 40 seconds!
Tomorrow's race will not only be warmer, but the first race jitters will be gone!
