Strawberry picking with friends...

Today we headed out with some friends to pick strawberries just a little north of town...

All the kiddos ready and anxious to pick!

The rows were filled with some of the sweetest strawberries I've tasted...definitely no sugar needed on these!

Buckets in hand, these guys went to work.

They started out quickly, and fizzled out quickly, my boys only picked about a dozen berries before they decided they needed a work break and proceeded to eat most of what they had picked. Thankfully, sampling was free!

Eli was fairly dedicated to the cause...as long as he had a strawberry to eat in his hand.

The sampling was the best part of this outing!

Seth inspecting his berry, he was concerned he might get a piece of stem...

I'm pretty sure that Eli's digestive system will be working quite well for the next few days...

The gang...these kiddos have become quite good friends while we have been here...we certainly have been blessed by them. When moves come more often than you would like, you can't take friends for granted...especially ones who become your friends even when they know you are leaving in a few months!!

Looks like they ate more than you got to take home. Good thing they didn't weigh the boys before and after the picking. Looks like another fun adventure. NV Grandma
