Time Away...

Call it a Valentine's gift or call it a birthday gift...either way it was a VERY sweet gift - tickets for Paige and I to visit my family. My mother was here right after Paige was born...but no one else had seen her...not to mention that it had been over a year and a half since I had seen the majority of my family. Just in case you were worried, the boys survived with flying colors here at home with Dad!

This is my new baby nephew, Carson Kelly...What a sweet boy he is!!

The whole family...what more could a little brother want in life than 2 doting sisters!!?

My niece, Cadence...last time I saw her she was just 7 months old. It took her a while to warm up, but after being there for a few days we were friends...she even let me take some pictures of her!

Getting to know her Uncle Wayne. Maybe because of all of the boys our house, Paige loved ALL of her Uncles!

These 3 (cousins) musketeers are quite entertaining! Singing, dancing, playing, and fighting like sisters.

My brother's family...minus my oldest niece Emma.

Spending some quality time with Grandpa.

Visiting with Grandma. Paige was very happy...at least when someone was holding or paying attention to her!

I am content here...on the other side of the country; but being so far away from family isn't easy either! Visits only once a year...having to get re-acquainted each time...is downright hard! I certainly cherish each time we can be together and look forward to days ahead that we might be just a little bit closer!!

Your family looks good and I'll bet it was nice to have some time with them. All of us being so far away makes it hard to get together very often. Thank goodness for emails, texts and your blogs. NV Grandma
