Weekend Soccer Warriors!!

In a house full of 3 boys a boring Saturday morning at home can be just that...boring! Unfortunately, boredom for three crazy boys can turn into trouble very quickly. That is one of the reasons that Seth and Eli are "playing" indoor soccer this winter! Although Seth is 4, he is in a 5 year old class and LOVES it! He is quite the little player, just now figuring out that using his hands is off limits!

Carefully listening to his Coach's instructions

Check out those calf muscles...those certainly are not from my side of the family...it's ALL Mulkey muscles!!

Eli is in a class with 2 year old peers...and their parents. He's not really "playing" soccer, in fact, Eli participates very well in EVERY aspect of the class except for the soccer part! He carries the ball, rolls around on the ball, and throws the ball; but it is very rare that you will actually see him kick the ball into the goal.

Eli is a soccer cone lover! These things are so versatile - we should definitely get some at home to play with!

What?? Kick the ball...that's no fun!!

Zach on the other hand has no interest in something so silly. He has played once or twice when it has completely been HIS idea. He would much rather sit in the bleachers and read than actually get out and play - even though when he did, he loved it!

Enjoying his Billy and Blaze book.

If you have boys...they would love this series of books. Zach's teacher is sending them home with him for reading - and he loves them. They are old...and no longer printing, but well worth checking out.

A post from me wouldn't be complete without an artsy picture. One that means nothing to anyone, but me!!
