If you were to be a guest in our home (you are invited anytime), you would probably notice something...there is NOTHING hanging on the walls...no decorations of any kind. We agreed when we moved here that we would save our time unpacking, measuring, nailing...and then spackling/patching holes; and save it for our next home. It just seemed unnecessary to go to all that work for just a short time. I do have our favorite pictures of the boys up on our fireplace mantel, and a few framed pictures in other places, but that's it!
Last week, I fudged a little bit on this agreement. I really needed some place to hang up some of the kids' projects that they were bringing home from both school and church. A friend of mine had this nifty little idea, and I loved it! So now when you come to visit you still won't see any fancy decor; but our hallway looks SMASHING with some of the best artwork you can find!!
What you need:
- Some space
- Twine or thin rope
- Large push pins
- Clothes pins
- Kids who love to bring home and display projects!

oh, I love the arrangement on your fireplace mantel! Is that your digital scrapbook you made? It looks big! I am so impressed once again! I miss you a lot!
